For a deliciously different programme of seasonal songs this year, look no further than Surrey Music’s annual festive concert.
‘Make Mine a Snowball!’ promises a refreshing twist on the traditional Christmas concert, as the 140-voice Elmbridge choir and 90-strong Elmbridge Ladies Choir perform some new and delightful seasonal pieces to herald the start of the Christmas period.
‘We’re aiming for warm and cozy with more than a dash of sparkle!’, says Cliff van Tonder, Musical Director of Surrey Music. ’This year’s programme offers a fresh mix of heart-warming and rousing songs to celebrate the traditional Christmas themes of peace, joy and goodwill. And with some spectacular lighting planned to add to the festive cheer, we think ‘Make Mine a Snowball!’ might prove to be one of our best concerts yet!’
