Surrey Music announces Christmas concert extravaganza in Woking town centre in support of Pride in Surrey, featuring two choirs of 200+ voices, UK’s No 1 Elton John Tribute Act and Brighton’s rising pop star, Chase Adams.

Elmbridge Choir and Elmbridge Ladies Choir will be sharing the stage with Elite Elton, the UK’s premier professional Elton John Tribute Act, as well as Chase Adams, a fresh and up-and-coming vocal artist from Brighton, in a festive spectacular, ‘A Perfect Christmas Night’, on Saturday 1st December 2018 at Christ Church, Jubilee Square, Woking, Surrey GU21 6YG.

“It will be a perfect night of musical variety and entertainment,”, says Cliff van Tonder, Founder and Musical Director of Surrey Music. “We’ve got a fantastic range of Christmas songs lined up, big numbers from ‘Frozen’ and ‘The Greatest Showman’, superb lighting and two incredible guest acts.

Elite Elton is amazing and bears an uncanny resemblance to the real Elton in looks as well as voice, while Chase Adams’ impressive performance and soulful vocals will touch your heart .”

The concert also aims to raise awareness of the very first Pride in Surrey event which will be held in Woking next August. “We were so excited to see that Pride is coming to Woking and we really wanted to support it in some way”, says Cliff. “We have invited the organisers along to the concert to help publicise the event and who knows, you may even see us performing on a float in the parade next year!”

Surrey Music has raised more than £170,000 in 13 years for charitable purposes and is always looking for ways to support and be involved in the local community. “At Christmas time especially, our thoughts turn to those sleeping on the street, and we are very happy to be holding a retiring collection for York Road Project, a fantastic Woking charity which provides accommodation and support for those experiencing homelessness,” says Cliff.
