About The Artist – Ian Henderson
I’ve been painting portraits and animals for as long as I can remember.
I studied at the Heatherley School of fine Art from 1972/1976 then at the City and Guilds from 1976/1978. During this time I was involved in a series of paintings of Winston Churchill with his nephew Spencer Churchill for the American market, also worked along side Bernard Hailstone RP, Portrait Painter for a short time.
Having left college I moved to Germany doing commissions on the German market and also with the British Military plus working as an art teacher. Having spent over 25 years in Germany I returned to England in 2009 and now live in Salfords Village in the borough of Reigate and Banstead in Surrey.

I do talks and Demonstrations in oils and soft pastels to Art Societies on Portraiture, Animals and Landscapes.

Prices For Painting Commissions
My prices are as follows :
Soft Pastel or Watercolour start at £160 the size is 40×50 cms
Oils start at £260 the size is 30×40 cms.
Art Exhibitions
I exhibit in the Light Box in Woking with the Woking Art Society and this year was Highly Commended with my oil painting called Break Time, shown here.
