Weybridge Beer festival is back Friday 26th & Saturday 27th April 2019
Weybridge Vandals Rugby Club are proud to present the fifth annual Weybridge Beer, Cider and Wine Festival. This Festival is a 2 day event which kicks off Friday 26th April at 6pm, continuing the fun on Saturday 27th April.
Weybridge beer festival is the perfect way to celebrate St Georges day and the best of British beer, cider and wine.
Throughout the day and evening local musicians will be showcasing their talents live on our stage.
Live Music – Friday
THE COVERS COLLECTIVE (Friday from 7.30pm)
Glamorous and electrifying all professional 5 piece event and party band busting out a full playlist of covers from the 70’s to the present day. Soul, Pop, Rock and more beautifully arranged by musical director Dan Johnson with Jess Hayes luscious and storming vocals backed by Miles Horne on brilliant guitars, Dom Strange on smooth bass and Harry Pike pounding out the beats, The Covers Collective are in huge demand around the South West music scene.
SOPHIE LOUISE (Friday from 7.30pm)
Sophie Louise is an Indie kid rocker at heart with a powerful range and gutsy vocals, she is an all-out performer and loves a lively crowd. She performs with The Covers Collective all over London and the South East, she says Weybridge Beerfest will be super fun and actually loves a pint or two herself.

MURPHY JAMES (Saturday from 3.30pm
One of the UK’s Leading live talents! Acoustic Guitarist/Singer playing covers from 60’s to now.
In 2014 Murphy was asked to headline at the Tour de France in Yorkshire and in 2015 he was asked to perform for the Great British Food Festival as well as being asked to take part in the Dot London Campaign fronted by Sarah Willingham (Dragon’s Den Judge) as a representative for London Live Music.
Murphy James has all the experience needed to amaze crowds at any event.
THE WEYSTERS (Saturday from 6.30pm)
Formed by mistake in the pub at a school dads’ night out, the Weysters started playing their popular brand of rock and pop covers in the bars and sports clubs of Weybridge just over two years ago. From 70’s rock, 80’s pop, 90s Britpop and even the millennium, there is something for everyone in their eclectic set list. The name? Well they are a bunch of wasters from Weybridge.
‘L’ (ELLIE THOMPSON) (Saturday from 8.30pm)
Acclaimed singer songwriter and BBC Introducing star of the future, ‘L’ (Ellie Thompson) is an accomplished solo performer singing a wide range of rock and pop with huge energy and gorgeous vocals. ‘L’ has been singing all over the UK and loves a vibrant and energetic crowd.

THE CHEAP SHOTS (Friday from 6pm)
The five man band, will be playing for you, with a mix of acoustic, funk, disco, ska and generally cracking tunes. From the rocking sounds of bands like Guns ‘n’ Roses to the funky sounds of Chic, and spanning the decades with 70’s Elton John, 80’s Duran Duran and 90’s Blur right through to current acts like Taio Cruz and The Killers. The band creates an atmosphere that brings everyone together for a good time.
MILES HORNE & THE RIVER (Friday from 8pm)
Playing the best of Indie rock with an electrifying verve, Miles Horne and The River are a professional 5 piece covers band delivering sweet tunes from the Stereophonic’s to the Arctic Monkeys – The Kooks to The Red Hot Chillis and filling the room with big sounds and crowd pleasing musicianship. It’s hands in the air all night with this band
Rampart Street Ramblers (Friday from 8:30pm)
The Rampart Street Ramblers play the rootsiest honky-tonk, zydeco, jazz, folk and R&B in London. With a sound located somewhere between the deep south and South Wales, they like nothing better than to play foot-stompin’ tunes that you can dance the Texas polka to.

Fresh London-based 5-piece raising the bar in live entertainment! Boasting both male and female lead vocals and a line-up of world-class musicians, they never fail to deliver! You won’t find a more professional or dynamic band!
